How much will I be paying for the next iPhone?

Ok, right now, I am part of a family plan and I pay the minimum data plan for this iPhone, $20/month since mid September. I was wondering when I get the iPhone 3G, will I have to I through any BS to upgrade since it hasn't even been a year by the time I get the new iPhone. Also I know it costs $30/month now, but I heard the 200 texts wont be included, so I was wondering how much it would cost to just add 200 texts to my line and no one elses thanks....

i think its like 10 bucks for 200 texts or something along that line.
