T-mobile user switching to AT&T bc of 3g, who's joining me?
yea so sadly 3g speeds for the iphone will only work on at&t and i dont think it'll ever work on t-mobile... so i'm gonna have to make the switch on July 11th...unless something changes(hopefully something does !!)
sigh for leaving t-mobile..but yays for 3G speeds that are almost on par with wi-fi !!
who's with me?

I will respectfully decline switching back to AT&T from T-Mobile. From my personal experience, AT&T service blows.... Plus it looks like AT&T will now charge $30 for data for the new 3G iPhone. That really blows.

Nope... Had voice stream back in the day, changed to att (hated it), changed to Nextel (hated it) and went back to Tmo! Not leaving again, the price is right and there is only one spot in my town where I don't get signal and it's an old security bunker with 8' thick concrete walls and steel plating...
screw 3G iphone I'll stick with edge till apple's exclusivity contract runs out with att and they make the phone for the rest of the world, and that may be a year or more...
all well I'll grab a good used one if I can't wait for the iphone 3G to be fully hacked for tmo...Never underestimate the determination of a kid who is time rich and cash poor. (Little Brother by Cory Doctorow)

Not a chance. T-Mobile has been amazing for me. I'm happy enough with the pre-pay service (which is basically 10 cents a minute for me, no contracts), and I don't really need edge--I'm not on the road that much. The ONLY thing I was looking forward to was the integrated GPS to take the place of my garmin device. Sigh.

I am. The 3G iPhone looks absolutely stunning and has great features to boot. And its only 199!! The only downside is that in total, the minimum iphone plan (voice, 200 text messages, and 3G internet) is 70 a month =(

Nope! No switching for me. My prepaid T-Mobile works like a champ. I have very little need for the data service as there are more and more open wifi points.
