It doesn't affect anything on the phone besides it's unlocked and the IMEI is changed. Your phone will still work with iTunes with no problem. Everything works.

what if i use an IMEI from an unlocked N95 and use the program that acts like the iphone is a N95 will it work?

Well then I did something wrong, cuz when I change my IMEI to my old Razor, I cant play purchases I made through iTunes. It just freezes up on me.

What plan are you guys getting for $15? I pay $20 right now for unlimited data, and 200 text. I am only seeing $35 for media max unlimited, which is much higher.

^^you should google that stuff and the 35 dollar plan is for unlmited everything. Also i got my itune purchased music to work again. Just resynced with my computer and added a couple of songs on my iphone, i go to listen to music and a song that i bought came up so i figured i would just skip it since it wouldnt play, BUT i heard the music. So try that out guys.

i can confirm this works. I downgraded from 2.0, which was a pain in the *** btw..... you have to be on 3.9 bootloader! Then just use ziphone change the imei to some type of camera phone that you wont use anymore and voila! It works. I've sent like 5 picture messages today, and received 3. Any questions just let me know.

BTW.....$15 is for media net unlimited

For some odd reason one time after i restored my IMEI was still changed.

So i upgraded to a 4.0 bootloader and it somehow worked... idk why... 0.o

But I'm okay with it!!! :-)

anybody know if this works on 2.0 jailbroken? It's one of the main reasons why I haven't moved back to 2.0. I just really, really like my picture messaging. What program would I use to change my imei? hmmmm..... What about orb? Does it work with 2.0 jailbroken?
