unlocked iPhone 4

Unlocked iPhone 4 will not pull service on t-mobile, sim is verified good and active. Does the 4 lack the WCDMA 1700/2100 band T-mobile needs? Do only factory unlocked 4s's work on T-mobile?

t-mobile is a gsm network. you need to install their sim card to the device, therefore you can't use it with a cdma iphone 4.
you can't also use it with verizon/sprint iphone 4s even if it's unlocked since verizon and sprint unlock the device in order to use is outside the usa. in order to use iphone 4/4s with t-mobile it has to be at&t iphone that was unlocked OR a gsm iphone 4/4s that you bought in apple store without a contact. except that, you can use verizon/at&t/sprint iphone 5 with tmobile incase it's unlocked.

The phone is originally AT&T after factory unlock, (I know its unlock was because the cellular data option comes up with simple mobile/t-mobile sim) it wont pull service on t-mobile sim only, other Unlocked iphone pulls service with same sim. Any ideas?

Okay, IMEI is blacklisted. I had the customer call he claimed they said the phone was clean but I just verified that it is not.
