    Default Verizon 4S on T-Mobile?
I'm sure this has been addressed many times already, and I have searched around the forums for a while... but simply: Can I unlock a Verizon 4S to work with T-Mobile? I have the ability to get one today from an in-law, but if I can't unlock, I'll pass.

    Thanks in advance.

I believe that phone would be a CDMA, T-Mo uses GSM (sim card). I think you're out of luck.

(well I would say by the follow up posts that I was a bit off here )

Not true. U can use a unlock chip like a R-sim or what not. I had a Verizon 4s on simple mobile for a while myself.

I jus gave my Verizon iPhone 4s to my friend. He's got it on tmobile. Jus pop a r-sim CDMA in that bad boy and your good to go! It's a little tricky to get your apn settings to stick. I has simple mobile with it and every time my iPhone shut off I had to reinstall my apn setting thru cydia. Also you'll new tetherme. Hope you got it up and running.
