What happens if you try restoring to 5.1.1?
Also what are the first five numbers of your serial number?

unfortunately you most likely "bricked" your iphone.
iphones made in 2011, hence the 1 in 88137, and after week 27, hence the week 37 in 88137, should NOT update to the ipad baseband
there is no way that you can fix this issue, you can "try" to restore back to 5.1.1, but its most likely the baseband is corrupted.
The only thing you can really do is use it as an ipod for music

Restoring to 5.1.1 "should" fix the baseband. I have fixed a few this way myself. Assuming that does fix it your only option is an official unlock with whatever carrier your phone is locked to.

Ya, as long as that is the reason they were bricked. A restore to latest firmware can fix it. Not a definite though.
