    Thanks for the screenshots!

Keep them coming so that people can get an idea how 3G's rolling out.

Any luck in the DFW area guys?

    Default Nj 3g
I live in South Orange NJ and get Edge on my iPhone 4s unlocked with Gevey sim. I was in at the Jersey Shore last weekend and my phone switched to 3G data was very slow until I removed the APN settings. I took a screen shot but can't figure out how to load it direct from the iPhone. Hopefully it will come north soon.

I was in Paterson, NJ yesterday (North Jersey) and I saw my 3G icon flash for a minute and then it disappeared. Odd..

I live in DFW area and nothing. Also went to Miami for vacation last week and nothing there either.

Was in Kansas City for work last week and got 3G speeds near Kauffman Stadium.

Here it is, just started receiving it in Paterson, NJ. Excuse the theme, but that's the 3G icon.

Here is a T-Mobile USA Sightings of 3G coverage map so far. If you are receiving 3G/4G speeds in your area you can add it to the map.
And a link to the T-Mo site for iPhone 3G/4G speeds discussion and reports.

    Nice site!

Could you edit smo69's first post with that 3G sightings map?

    Thanks for that.

Here's something interesting that I noticed last night. Still no 3G, but I thought it was interesting.

[Sprint] iPhone 4S using "4.0 Signal Bars" WinterBoard theme.

What APN are you guys using/should we use for 3G? I've always used internet2.voicestream.com but not sure if that's the correct one.

According to T-Mo web site, you should use "epc.tmobile.com" as your APN for Cellular Data and MMS.

Hmmm... epc.tmobile.com works fine for my data apn, might even be faster. But I can't send any MMS while using it as my mms apn. If I switch back to wap.voicestream.com it works fine. Maybe my other mms settings don't play nice with the epc apn.

What worked for me was adding a repo in Cydia as told by T-Mo rep.
    beta.leimobile.com/repo/
    And install "T-Mobile MMS fix"

The various APNs were plan-specific. All of the APNs currently have access to 3G/4G.

    I'm on the $5.99 T-Zones plan and internet2.voicestream.com, epc.tmobile.com, and wap.voicestream.com all work.

If you can't send MMS via the epc APN, just keep using the wap one.
