    I got this from another thread so credit goes to westc0ast

    iPhone 3g,3GS,4,4S ios3,4,5 WORKING!
    This takes care of the (media content was not included due to a picture resolution or massage size restriction) error.
    "if your jailbroken just use cydia" but this will still work. I'm using gevey sim no jailbreak
    Make a backup of your iPhone in iTunes.

    download ibackupbot
    run ibackupbot and load the first backup you just created in iTunes.
    go to com.apple.mms_override.plist
    "library/preferences/com.apple.mms_override.plist"

    delete and insert this.

    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
    <plist version="1.0">
    <dict>
    <key>MMS</key>
    <dict>
    <key>GroupModeEnabled</key>
    <false/>
    <key>MMSC</key>
    <string>http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc</string>
    <key>MaxMessageSize</key>
    <integer>1048576</integer>
    <key>MaxRecipients</key>
    <integer>10</integer>
    <key>MaxVideoBitrate</key>
    <integer>131072</integer>
    <key>Proxy</key>
    <string>216.155.165.50:8080</string>
    <key>UAProf</key>
    <string>http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf</string>
    <key>UserAgent</key>
    <string>SonyEricssonW800i/R1L</string>
    </dict>
    </dict>
    </plist>

    save and restore from backup right from within ibackupbot.

    make sure to go back and fix the cellular data settings on your phone to:

    cellular data

    mms
    APN: epc.tmobile.com

    Are you unlocked with gevey? Tmo takes a little while to send(sometimes a loooong while). And sometimes you need to resend. So on your phone you go to settings/general/network/ there is no option for "Cellular Data Network"?
    Can you make a backup of you phone now and check the new backup in ibackupbot to see if you have the proper code in the mms_override file?

    change the string to wap.voicestream.com in ip3 only first.then restore and see if that helps.
    <string>wap.cingular</string>
    should be
    <string>wap.voicestream.com</string>

    A few questions
    1.have you restored and setup as new phone NOT from backup?
    2.when you did the backup to fix the mms_override.plist did you have tmo service?was the phone connected to tmo when you backed up?
    3.r u having issues with SMS,mms or both?
    4.do you have data roaming on.is the E next to your carrier name in upper lift corner?

    Well that's the first thing. I'm afraid you need to start with
    1.restore as new phone
    2. Get gevey going till tmo is working(you should now have network setting tab)
    3. Backup
    4. fix mms_override.plist,restore(make sure you use the backup you just made)restore(with ibackupbot)
    Then we can narrow it down more.

    Cannot send any sms or mms, I have gotten it to send both at one point, but then if the phone is turned off it stops working. I have looked with the ibackupbot and it seems to keep overwriting my changed, I will make the changed apply them, then on backup will show them, next time I power off the phone and back on all the old settings are back??? Any ideas? I cannot send any texts? thanks. I have done a reload setup as new phone twice, I can get it to work but then for now reason it will stop working, usually of the phone is ever turned off.

    Well now, I just verified both files saved , still no texting, no sms or mms??
