Thread: Face time activation

when i try to activation face time on my iPhone 4 ios 5.0.1.I get warning message (some thing text message will get charge)so when i look at my bill it

    when i try to activation face time on my iPhone 4 ios 5.0.1.I get warning message (some thing text message will get charge)so when i look at my bill it show my international text charge(#447537410227 or 0217 these are UK#)
    did anyone have the same problem?

    Not on the pre paid. I just switched to a contract I hope I don't have a problem

    When you first activate Facetime and/or iMessage on any iDevice it needs to send an activation text to the +44 number in order to verify with the apple servers... hence you are charged for an international text.

    I have tmobile and I do not get charge for international text every time I activate FaceTime or iMessage. Vimm you use gevey?

    44 number is a internal ( it un kingdom #)
