APN settings on iOS 5.0.1?
Hi all, I just upgraded my iPhone 4 on T-Mobile today with redsn0w/ ultrasn0w. Everything's working great, except that the option to enter APN settings aren't there. I know you need to install an MMS fix of some sort but none of the ones I've tried work so far. Anyone have any solutions? I mostly just want my Edge data to work, but getting MMS/ Facetime/ push etc would be a nice plus too.

Have you tried using this source http://beta.leimobile.com/repo
And then just download carrier reset fix and your cellular data network should show up. And you can change the apn settings

The repo maddgroover posted is the one that does the trick, however, you don't need the carrier reset fix. Just get the tmobile mms fix for iOS 5....reboot, and put wap.voicestream.com as the MMS APN...your data APN depends on the data package you have. Legacy = internet2.voicestream.com, newer plan = epc.tmobile.com. I've updated several iPhone 4s (plural iPhone 4, not 4s) to 5.0.1 and this works every time. Does anyone else wish the new one was the iPhone 4+? That way you could say 4s meaning more than one 4 without things getting confusing??

That seems to happen sometimes for reasons I don't understand. Generally installing the patch from the lei mobile repo fixes it fine. If you've done that and still have the error you'll need to change the mmsoverride.plist on the phone. You can find a how to for that here: T-Mobile MMS Settings For iOS 5 | LEi Mobile
Go down to the section explaining how to fix mms without a jailbreak (as if you were using a Gevey). That should do the trick!
