MMS distorted, only half picture shows up on iphone 4 ios 4.2.1 firmware 3.10.1 w/gevey
Hello All,
i got my gf an iphone 4, she doesnt want to be on att contract but rather prepaid. so i got a gevey sim ultra and tmobile micro sim. got everything to work thanks to this forum. however, i noticed MMS takes forever to send and sometimes you have to send two or three times to get it to go through. when i take a picture with her iphone and send to mine, the picture is either grayed out, top picture is shown bottom is grey out. anyone has the same issue? when i send her MMS, picture is fine. other photo apps comes out distorted as well.
any help, greatly appreciated.

Whoa that's weird. Everyone seems to be having problems with their MMS. Is the pictures in the photo app normal? No gray?

normal camera apps or any third party apps, the picture is normal on the unlocked iphone, but when sent via mms to another phone, the pictures become distorted and cut.

what apn are you using?and what data plan do you have?

apn is wap.voicestream.com for both cell data and mms. MMS is a hit and miss with tmobile. I can never get MMS working correctly.
it works one day and fail the next day. im on the 50 dollars unlimited plan.

ok well i had the same issue before, on my iphone4 and my girls 3g.i changed both apns to epc.tmobile.com and that fixd it.
