Updated to 5.0.1 and now i cant restore from back (iphone 4)

I have a iphone 4
updated to 5.0.1 from 4.3.5 (did the no bb update)
gevey ultra

so i updated to 5.0.1 with the no bb update via redsnow.

the phone works great but when i plug into itunes to do a restore from back in order to get all my contacts and pics it doesnt give me the option.

when i go to edit> preferences > devices i can see my previous restores there.

i really need to restore from a back up in order to get my contacts.

please help

You did sync ya phone before ya restored and updated right?

yes i backed up... as stated above i can go to the edit tab and see my previuos back ups. i just cant access them

Your contacts is stored in your computer via itunes. You don't need to restore from backup, just sync back your contacts

but when i right click on my phone it doesnt even give me the restore from back up option

Just make one thread no reason to make three of the same ones in different sections.

If you have no other choice beside doing a restore to 4.3.5. I would suggest to do the following steps:
1. Use iFaith to create a signed custom firmware for 5.0.1 (just in case you want to restore at a later time)
2. If you have SHSH saved by Cydia or Tinyumbrella the a restore to 4.3.5 is possible. Otherwise, don't bother.
3. Use older version of iTunes to restore 10.4 or 10.5.0 to avoid Error(1) on restore to 4.3.5
