iPhone 3GS w/ iOS 5 - MMS issue
Anyone else have iSO 5 with T-Mobile and not able to receive mms?
I am getting the same error as before "The media content was not included due to a picture resolution or message size restriction"
The cydia crack doesn't work for this iSO release!
Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers

I tried Germanese's fix with no luck but Westc0ast's suggestion worked for me. I had to reboot after making the changes but now my MMS is working great on T-mo

I have a 3gs with with 3.1.2 and 05.11.07
I know this may not be the right thread but maybe you guys can point me in the right direction. I paid $20 bucks for someone to jailbreak and unlock this phone to work on T-Mobile over a year ago. It works fine, I do have T-zones also.
I would love to have all of this new stuff. ios5 Facetime, imessage, icloud, and anything else.
I am in Dallas and I have called 2 store fronts that jailbreak and unlock phones and they say they cannot update with ios5.
I read here and other places that it can be done? I am not very good at this kind of stuff and would rather pay $20 to someone that knows how. Can someone point me in the right direction? Anyone in DFW?
Thanks
MC

Bummer you are in Dallas, I am in Houston area.
Well you are able to update to iOS 5 the problem they wont do it is because it is Tethered JB and Unlock.
That means when you turn off your phone you have to plug it into a computer to kick it out of recovery mode again.
So that would be annoying to customers. Hence they say no, ...
There is one catch though, if you BOOTROM is an old one...
Which from the looks of it there is a very high chance you have an old one from you saying the years.
You can get urs unlocked running iOS5 un-Tehtered.iPhone 4 Unlocked on T-Mobile | Motorola Verizon Razr M on T-Mobile |

You can find instructions about ur bootrom here.

Follow them as instructed. And when you stuck in DFU mod just hold power and home for over 25sec i think it was.iPhone 4 Unlocked on T-Mobile | Motorola Verizon Razr M on T-Mobile |
