fix mms error t-mobile unlocked NOT jailbroken(ios5 working too)
iPhone 3g,3GS,4,4S ios3,4,5 WORKING!This takes care of the (media content was not included due to a picture resolution or massage size restriction) error.
"if your jailbroken just use cydia" but this will still work. I'm using gevey sim no jailbreak
Make a backup of your iPhone in iTunes.

download ibackupbot
run ibackupbot and load the first backup you just created in iTunes.
go to com.apple.mms_override.plist
"library/preferences/com.apple.mms_override.plist"

delete this code.
And insert this code.

Code:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>MMS</key> <dict> <key>GroupModeEnabled</key> <false/> <key>MMSC</key> <string>http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc</string> <key>MaxMessageSize</key> <integer>1048576</integer> <key>MaxRecipients</key> <integer>10</integer> <key>MaxVideoBitrate</key> <integer>131072</integer> <key>Proxy</key> <string>216.155.165.50:8080</string> <key>UAProf</key> <string>http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf</string> <key>UserAgent</key> <string>SonyEricssonW800i/R1L</string> </dict> </dict> </plist>
save and restore from backup right from within ibackupbot.

make sure to go back and fix the cellular data settings on your phone to:

So can you confirm that it works then? I'm just curious.

Yes. I checked and rechecked a couple times.
With mms not working if you check your iPhone backup file. You will see the
com.apple.mms_override.plist file will not show any tmobile reference.
I had to find a way to fix this without jb cuz I bought an iPhone 4 that was already on 4.3.5. And I need it unlocked for tmobile so I used gevey and mms was messed up. I believe this is the only way to get into internal files without jb your phone.Last edited by westc0ast; 09-08-2011 at 09:21 PM.

Well hopefully someone can also test this out bc I see quite a few people having problems with MMS on TMo with the Gevey.

westc0ast.... you are a hero.
I have been trying to make this work for 3 weeks (all while traveling). You did it!!!! THANK YOU!!!
Now, after being introduced to jail breaking on this site, should I even try it (so intrigued).
