Nice. Hopefully I will get my Gevey in the mail this week and be able to join the club. Have you had any major issues with using the Gevey vs. an ultra unlock?

did you mean ultrasnow? if you did then i did not use it. no point as it doens't unlock 4.10.01 yet. BUT i hear it helps if your have 1 signal bar or no bars????

Also take your time when you do the 112, airplane, etc steps. don't jump the gun. google, google, GOOGLE!!! you'll find the answer. but if you can't post here (or somewhere in modmyi) and we will help.

only issue is the signal drops out like crazy. to be honest i'm not sure if it's just t-moble becasue i had a 3Gs before and the signal was always weak in some areas but never dropped. Dropped as in saying "seaching" "no service." But the gevery does work when calls are made or recieved. It has not failed me yet.

No batteries issues. again. it could just be the "apple coolness" effect on me or i'm paying much attatein to it.

No Hot/Over heating sim. none that i see or feel for the last few days.

I received it in the mail yesterday, shaved down my sim and got a perfect fit. Did the steps for about 30mins and finally got it to work. have had to do it a couple of times after installing things with cydia and settings of the iPhone, but I'm getting the hang of it.

The only things I can't get is my EDGE to pop up ..and stay on. Sometimes it will pop up with just the bars (no "T-Mobile" showing) but then will disappear or sometimes it wont show at all. I've google'd but every thing from adding epc, internet2, wap in cellular data to adding packages on cydia to using unlockit.co haven't worked. Have any of you tried anything that you believe to have helped (if you've even faced this issue)?

i'm using epc.tmobile.com. no other settings or carrier packages, etc...just epc.tmobile.com. also (i'm sure you might know but want to ask) you have 3g OFF, cellular data ON, Data Roaming ON. ??? right?

but over all yes, in my case, the gevey drops signal more often then (insert a pun here). but i'm happy.

Yea, I'm using the epc setting mainly as it seems like everyone is saying its the most successful. So, you just put epc into the APN settings, no mms settings? I have 3G off and the other two on.

It will get the signal and E for a moment then they go away and I get both the sim failure message and it displays invalid sim. I'm completely stumped

I use internet2.voicestream.com but try them all.
