Fix MMS, Internet & Activate FaceTime iPhone 4 on US Carriers. TMobile, SimpleMobile.

OMG finally finished updating server and i4MMS. Everything should now be fixed.

Install Guide:

1. Add the following source to cydia.
   • "http://bbyscroopy.pirat3.com/cydia"
2. Locate i4MMS, download, install, and respring.
3. Launch app, tap on i4MMS tab.
   • Use Facetime option if you already have correct APN settings, otherwise choose from the T-Mobile, or Simple Mobile.
4. Click "Apply Settings" and device will respring.
5. Open Settings app. Go to General>Network. Here you will disable 3G and enable Data Roaming.
6. Now open Cellular Data Network. *General>Network>Cellular Data Network* Scroll to the bottom and “Reset Settings” once or twice until all fields populate by themselves.
7. Enable Facetime toggle. *This might take a couple minutes and carrier may charge for international text message. Will only charge once it is activated.
8. Done

I may be interested, I use T-Mobile on ip4 4.2.1 (1.59.00).

Does the MMS both send and receive?
Under Settings > General > About is the carrier labeled as T-Mobile 9.0 or Carrier 9.0 when using the bundle?

and yes MMS works without the MMS overide hack in cydia

will u be able to test it out for me i just want someone to verify it works for them so i can release it?

I have managed to get Facetime!!!(No MiTime) MMS, Internet and Tethering to work on my iPhone 4 iOS 4.2.1 T-Mobile USA i built my own Custom Bundle and spend many hours. well okay...days...and precious time in college making this lol shh ppl are gonna think i have no life

ONLY T-MOBILE USA!

add this source to cydia

1) bbyscroopy.pirat3.com/cydia
2) download and install i4MMS and reboot
3) enable airplane mode and wait until carrier dissapears
4) disable airplane mode and go to settings>phone and enable facetime
5) enjoy! hit thanks or something =D

iPhone 4 on iOS4.2.1, unlocked for T-Mobile. But have not tried the facetime.

The RED T-Mobile logo did not show up at the begining. I used winterboard themes to enable the logo and then unchecked the logo theme and respring. Then the logo is still there and I believe it is now using your T-Mobile logo picture in the CarrierLab.bundle

For unofficial carriers theres a certain number it sends it out to get a confirmation. Did it actually activate your facetime though?

Yes, I see the FaceTime symbol on my contact.
The MMS setting for T-Mobile does not work well, though.
I use epc.tmobile.com as APN
But the i4MMS will setup APN as wap.voicestream.com
other settings are slightly different from what people usually as below:
MMS Proxy: blank or 216.155.165.50:8080
MMS max message size: blank or 1048576

I ended up with unintall the package and use TetherMe and TetherMe APN Editing. The FaceTime is still there after uninstall i4MMs, interesting!

I turned FaceTime off and I do not want to re-activate it again to pay the international message fee.

one problem, wen you reset your setting twice sometimes your settings wont go away, so you have to go to the home screen and click on the tmobile button and it will set up the network for you then you can turn on facetime

it will also send the number to a UK number the reason for that is because it needs activation from an apple server

in order for tethering to work you will need a commcenter hack i could provide it but modmyi would probably edit my post and remove my source url. also for mms i use both those settings and other settings both work for me i could perhaps include a way to switch apn settings with another webclip yes?

This is not working for me.
i have an iphone 4 jailbroken and unlocked at 4.2.1 bb 1.59.00.

logo doesnt change.

cellular data network doesn't change any settings no matter how many resets i do.

Does it only work for people using the gevey sim?
