T-Mobile iphone help?

Hey everybody, I just recently unlocked an iphone that my friend gave to me (3gs FW 4.1 BB 6.15) <--- yeah i know BB upgrade..

But I wanted to change my plan even though I'm still under contract for another 7 months. How would I go about it?

Right now I have a G1 and i pay 90 bucks a month
-Fav 5 (300 mins) 39.99
- Unlimited Mins and Web 34.99
-Insurance 5.99

And if I want to switch my SIM to my iphone. Do I go and switch it online or in person. I figured it would be cheaper since i think their rates are less expensive than the plan I have now. and I wouldnt be using the insurance plan either.

If anybody has been in this situation or is in it. I'd like to hear your opinion because I'm not sure how to go about this.

And I already switched my sim to the iphone too.

Just switch your sim,you'll be fine. Switch it yourself,all you have to do is take it from the G1 and pt it in your iPhone,and that's it. There is nothing else you'll need to do,I promise.

How do you know? Have you also been thru this too? I called every tmobile in my area and they all said I would have to switch my Internet plan from a android plan to a smartphone. And they all said it'd be more expensive!!!! Wth.

Thanks, I was thinking of just removing the insurance and leave my plan as it is since it's cheaper and looking at the plans online. They are much more expensive.
