3G coverage on t-mobile iphone
Is there anyway to get 3G coverage on a iPhone on t-mobile. Edge service sucks. So slloowww... Or any tweak to trick it in to thinking it's in a wifi or 3G

T-Mobile 3G towers do not work on the same 3G radio frequencies that AT&T and most other GSM carriers throughout the world so it's the hardware that's not compatible in this case. No app or tweak or anything else if going to enable 3G for T-Mobile on the iPhone.
Also please post in the correct forum section. This is not iPhone News.

Considering AT&T is buying out T-Mobile, that's likely not a concern. Unless those headlines don't happen :/

I'm curious tho if the merger does happen, will iPhones on T-Mobile be able to start using 3G AT&T towers? And if so, would someone who has the old school t-zones Internet at 5.99 be able to stay on that Internet plan? How awesome would that be, I'm a little bit concerned tho with how AT&T generally handles these things with customers. It's not usually all that good

Everything is questionable. I'm inclined to say of course the iPhone will be available but that's bc technically it is all AT&T then.
I would imagine they'd allow people to be grandfathered with unlimited data plans up until the contract is up. Maybe they'll even let people keep it for longer, but they definitely won't be allowing new customers to do this.
AT&T has possibly the worst customer service. I loved T-Mobile for the customer service, but hopefully T-Mobile's customer service will rub off on AT&T. If not then that's just another loss for AT&T.

Looks like this question caught on.. Thanks.. I really hope we can get 3G or 4G if and when they integrate the towers for t-mobile.. Cause at&t has no unlimited plan and my bill is 60.00 for unlimited every thing

I hope not.. If they do I'm hope the Dev team comes up with a tweak to cancel that.. Even though that sounds far fetched
