    Default forced to restore 3GS 4.2.1 (8C1489) 05.15.04

    happened yesterday it bricked in greenp0ison )panic; hanging up here) . jailbroken now but is the 3GS unlockable at this point?

    yes, just need to use iPad baseband

    Read the dev team blog, or more info on this forum

    Be-aware that updating to the iPad baseband 06.15 will cause your GPS not to work and there is no way to downgrade the BB. You will be able to make calls, send/receive SMS/MMS, and use WiFi, but no GPS.

    I've unlocked at least a dozen phones withthe iPad baseband, not even one had any issues with the gps. Not saying you wont, just saying it's not 100% your gps will mess up.
