3GS Upgraded to 4.2.1: No Edge? (tmobile)

4.2.1 (upgraded from 4.0.1)
5.13.04

So I used the new pwnage tool for the upgrade, and I'm now noticing that the I can't go online unless I'm connected to my internet at home or other wireless options. Is this something that's common? I followed all the instructions properly. Calls and texts are fine. Just know wireless access.

What's even stranger is that when I go into System Prefs, it freezes/crashes when I select "network".

Is there a fix for this? Or should I downgrade back to 4.0.1?

Go back to 4.0.1 and try to upgrade again or just try the upgrade again,I have the same phone with no problems with the new tool,as a matter of fact it's the only tool I could get to work for me.

I had the same problem. Im going back to 4.02 to see if it comes back and maybe try again. Let me know if you find a fix.
