Default Who has MMS but no data plan on t-mobile?

All I have is unlimited messaging, so I was searching around to see how to activate MMS. I was going to download the carrier bundle but the links are down so I just went with the way of changing "Celluar Data Network" settings manually. I googled around and noticed everyone has different settings which is confusing me of which APN (wap/epc) is the best/fastest and if some parts are suppose to be blank or not (like the size resolution)

Here is what I got from a post I found on a website and I can send MMS:

    APN: wap.voicestream.com
    Username: leave blank
    Password: leave blank

    MMS SETTINGS-
    APN: wap.voicestream.com
    Username: t-mobile
    Password: mms
    MMSC: 216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
    MMS Proxy 216.155.165.50:8080
MMS Max Message Size: leave blank
MMS UA Prof URL: leave blank

Who else is using this? Are there better configurations? Before this set of settings, I had similar ones, except I didn't set the Cellular Data APN at the top, I also didn't have the username and password, and the max message size I had to a certain number, and UA Prof also had a url. That enabled the MMS option on the phone (camera icon) but when I was sending a picture, it would send most of the way then give me the red exclamation mark error.

Mines about the same, just Jo username or password in MMS

But on another note, why have an iPhone without data? The phone is great at every single thing it does, except phone calls lol.

Either way good luck setting up your mms, check out the carrier bundle thread for more info, give it a read if your curious.

I'm around wifi almost all day so it doesn't matter anyway =] I would add data if it was still 9.99 and unlimited, however they discontinued web2go and now have that 200mb option which I find unfair considering not everyone has access to 3G/4G AND they are charging 14.99 to existing customers instead of 10 like for new customers

I suggest requesting a supervisor till you get a supervisor!! explain that you were told the web2go offer was good until the end of 2011.

I successfully used this argument last month and the changes went into effect on my prepaid Even More Plus account today!

I now have three lines (two iphone 3GSs and my iphone 4) with the $10 web2go!!

that means its still in their system but the CSRs have been instructed not to offer it

    good luck.

Who did you say told you that the offer lasted until the end of 2011, just in case they ask? And how come it took them a month just to add it on for you

Try this setting, I have this on mine and it worked great.

    Username:
    Password:
    MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapc
    MMS Proxy 216.155.165.50:8080
    MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
    MMS UA Prof URL: http://apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf

    reboot the phone.

Note: Cellular Data and Data Roaming must be on

    Good luck.

vimm is correct. Try the following:

    1. Add "http://cydia.pushfix.info" as a source in Cydia Sources.
    2. Install "T-Mobile US MMS Fix for iOS4".
    3. When it finished, restart your iPhone.

Note: Cellular Data and Data Roaming must be on
Only Cellular Data needs to be on.

My 2G on iOS 3.12 cannot send MMS. I have two phones 2G and 3GS(4.2.1) on The prepaid plan.
Everything was fine in January, but now the 2G stopped all MMS until I change MMSC to
    http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
    from
    http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapc.
It only receives MMS with the change. Tried epc APN too. I tested receiving with PixDrop.com Free Picture Messaging - Send Free Picture Messages From Your Computer To Your Cell Phone

Is there a discussion how these settings work?
