Hey there i currently have an iPhone4.
I been wanting to have a Data plan on my phone, But i do not wish to jump on any contracts. right now, i am using my iphone 4 on a Prepaid pay as you go. $20/Month for unlimited texting.
I wish to have t-zones so than i could change my APN settings to t-mobiles and use the web on EDGE.
I have called t-mobile and some reps have told me it is possible, others said no, some said goto the t-mobile store.
so to start this whole process, do i need to order a t-mobile SIM card?
or can i do this without a t-mobile sim card?

first of all you need an unlocked iphone 4, if you dont have modem 1.59.00 then go no further.
next for Tmobile service you need a sim card, but first pick your plan. currently the best deal is an "Even More Plus" plan with the $10 web2go unlimited data.
all the reps in the store and on the phone insisted my only options were 200mb for $10 or unlimited for $30, and this went on for days. you will have to insist on speaking to a supervisor who will be the only reasonable person you talk to, and will finally agree to give you web2go.
if they ask what kind of phone you have/ plan to use: tell them it's one that is compatible with web2go because you already tried it on a friend's plan, and that it's an old dumb phone, but you don't need tech support, just the data plan lol.

I have T-Zones on my account, but I can not get it to work with my iPhone.
I have yet to find anyone who can confirm that the service works with their phone.

I have tzones and my Internet works fine. I pay 5.99 per month. I had to download the apn changer from unlockit and fix my mms settings.

I want to confirm that I have gotten T-Zones $5.99 to work on a iPhone 3G, iOS 3.1.2.
My 3Gs running 4.1 did not work, but when I switched out the SIM into the 3G, I was able to access the internet. I used the Blackra1n and Ultrasnow.
