How can I actually FIX push - Tmobile Pay as you Go

I have an iPhone 3G running 3.1.3, and I have the baseband updated to 6.15.00 to use ultrasn0w. I am using Tmobile's pay as you go network because it is so cheap compared to monthly plans. Of course I have no data plan, but I don't need internet on the go. The problem is that when I'm using the phone in my home, wifi works fine until I lock the phone, then it will switch to an "E" in the upper corner for Edge, while it's locked. This makes it impossible for all of my push apps to function correctly. I have pushdoctor, and it's not helping. Before I had a sim card for the phone, I'd basically just use it like an iPod touch, and push would work fine while using pushdoctor because it would always use wifi when locked, but now that it recognizes a sim card, it tries to use edge. I have tried the unlockit site, but that didn't help, is there any way to get push working on an unlocked iphone?

add source( pushfix.info) in cydia.and install mmsfix for tmobile after install reboot.try may be will work for you

I don't think push will work without data, and wifi turns off when you lock your phone. You can try downloading insomnia, its a hack that keeps the wifi running even when its locked.

I bought pushfix and it looks like it worked for me, then again bitesms was not pushing texts to me and tlert was.

actually, maybe i'll try EDGE disabler, how could i have missed that...
