Default 3GS Unlock No Service on T-Mobile Sim

    Device: Iphone 3GS old boomtom
    Firmware:4.2.1
    ModemFirmware:5.15.04

I recently jailbroke/unlocked my iphone with redsnow 9.6b5 and custom firmware iPhone2,1_4.1_8B117_Restore.ipsw, i used Cydia to unlock it everything appears to be fine it rebooted with no problems after Cydia did it's thing(doing all this with a German T-Mobile sim card in it) but now my phone just says no service do i legitly have no service? because i can put that sim card into a noniphone and get full service. By the way I'm in Germany on the Telekom.de network.
