Weird problem with incoming/outgoing calls

So starting this morning out of the blue, if I try and make a call, it shows that it's connected and the call timer starts, but I can't hear anything and the receiving person can't hear either. If I immediately hang up and call back, it works as normal.

Same thing with incoming calls - the first time someone calls, it rings for a split second then stops. If they call back a few seconds later, it works as normal.

Any ideas how to fix this? I'm running an iphone 3g on 3.1.2, jailbroken and unlocked on T-Mobile. I made sure everything was updated on Cydia and rebooted a few times. Please help!

How is the coverage in your area? I have that problem with AT&T sometimes.

I think so? In Cydia it says "SHSH: iOS 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.1"

Nothing for 3.1.2, but that is what I was running when Cydia asked me if I wanted to back up my SHSH files a couple months ago....

I would wait and see wat some of the unlockers here say. I'm not in on that scene.
