T-Mobile on iPhone 4.
This question has most likely been answered but couldn't find it, I am thinking about getting an iPhone 4 but I can't stand AT&T and would like to know if a 4 can be unlocked for T-Mobile? And if so what program would I use. Ultrasn0w?

aslong as your not on 4.1 or higher you can unlock with ultrasn0w if you on 4.1 or higher you will need to wait till the dev team updates ultasn0w for the new basebands

My advice, don't do it, if you need quick data.
You can only use t-mobile's EDGE with any iphone, no 3G speeds.
So, unless you have wifi at home and work and you can live without it,
I wouldn't recommend it.
The iphone4 is so nice, it's almost a waste to have it on EDGE.
I was soo tired of the EDGE Speeds and not being able to use 3G, that I just switched to an Android t-mobile device after 3 years of using an iphone.

I use edge on my 3G and used to pay $6 until web2go ended now I pay $10 not bad for edge.

EDGE on T-Mobile is ok, I find it acceptable. Some spotty coverage.
Pandora streams well, web pages load fairly quickly. Really depends upon you and what you need. If you're a 'want it NOW!' person, 3G speeds are slow (haha
