The gold part of the sim is huge and the height barely looks like it can fit. If u cut it as close to the gold piece does it fit? How complicated is cutting the t-mobile sim.
Someone asked this before, look for that thread. U can cut as close to the gold part as possible. In fact, u can even cut some of the end part of the gold part if necessary. If u cut to small, u have to try to place it in the correct position in the tray or u will end with errors like " no SIM" "no service" and "SIM failure". It's fairly easy if u use a microSIM as a template.
Also, u can go to a tmobile store and ask for a new SIM, the newer ones have a much smaller gold part. They usually give u one for free.
No thanks about the sim cutter...I already cut a mini sim into a micro sim with a template and it was easy the t-mobile one will be a little tougher but I should be able to manage.
I haven't successfully cut any of the big chips...the little ones are easy and work great though...just go to tmobile and tell them your current one is having false voicemail identification issues. They should hook you up.
i have 2 iphone 4's mine and my sons, my sim card gold part is exactly the same size as AT&T micro sim.
My son's sim was extremlu large on the gold part, i purchased a sim cutter on ebay and cut both of our cards, his lost a very slim edge on his gold but still works 100%.
I would advise getting the sim cutter, if you try to cut your sim without it you can and most likly screw up your sim buy the cutter it is worth it.
I think it was like $5.00 on ebay.
