Hey everyone! so im getting so frustrated!! i just bought a jailbroken First generation iphone, and i have Tmobile as a carrier. I put my sim in, and it says "different sim deteched, please connect to iTunes" soi did and then itunes says the sim card inserted in this iphone does not appear to be supposrted. I have no idea what to do can i please have some guidance for dumbies!

Go to Cydia and install BootNeuter. That will unlock the phone.
If that doesn't fix the problem, leave BootNeuter installed but then go to Cydia and add the repo cydia.pushfix.info then install the hactivation patch. That should fix the SIM error for sure.

it is,when i was using it before it could have been there but i hit reset. under my general settings. did i un jail brake it?

It's not jb unless Cydia is on it. It probably wasn't jb if you never had Cydia.
Download the 3.1.2 stock ipsw. In iTunes hit "upgrade" or "restore". After, you should be on a clean 3.1.3.
Go to Redsn0w and select the 3.1.2 ipsw. Next select "Cydia" and "Unlock". Then follow the on-screen prompts.
You should be jb and unlocked if done correctly.
Edit: you need Redsn0w 0.9.4 version

You can find the stock ipsw in the Downloads section here on MMi. You can find Redsn0w 0.9.4 by Google search, I don't have direct links right now, sorry.
