Tmobile Iphone Updated to 4.0.2.

ok so a few days ago i tried to jailbreak an iphone.. while i was trying to jailbreak the iphone something came up and the phone totally froze so my only way out was to update the phone.. because no matter what did it was stuck on the recovery screen.. after updating it.. i knew it would be on 4.0.2. and i didnt really mind, but the big problem is that the phone is using a tmobile sim.. and i can't even put one of my att sim in it to make it work.. i have no way of jailbreaking it on 4.0.2 and i cannot do anything with the phone except make emergency calls.. does anybody have any idea what i can do just to make the phone work (as in recieve calls and what not) not in a hurry to have the jailbreak just wanna be able to use the tmobile sim!!!

When sim is removed iphone notification says' insert a valid SIM with no PIN lock to activate iPhone.
When i insert my ATT SIM into the iphone, itunes says" SIM not compatible..?
When i insert tmobile sim itunes doesnt even pop up or say anything..

ok well theres no way to hactivate it then..

like NYzJATT said try restoring again with your att sim card in it..

or restart your computer and phone then try your att sim card again..

If you have your SHSH Blobs, grab TinyUmbrella to restore. Make sure you grab the SHSH blob first before you start the TinyTSS server.

Otherwise, you're screwed. Wait for 4.1 and the jailbreak for that.

yea definatly no tmobile sim usage.. even with the jailbreak cause i beleive the 4.1 updates the baseband which means another wait for the unlock..

okay so i tried everything.. and nothing works... so is this iphone like useless now? can i not even use it wiht att sim.. i understand why its not taking the tmobile sim but why isnt it taking the att either?

restore again to make sure the baseband isn't damaged.
