How To Fix MMS Problem After Jailbreaking And Unlocking iPhone On T-Mobile US

You can follow these instructions to fix the MMS issue:

Launch Cydia from your jailbroken iPhone homescreen.

Tap on the “Manage” Tab and then tap on “Sources” section.

Tap on the “Edit” button and then tap “Add” to add the following repo URL to add sources: Cydia.pushfix.info
*

After it is successfully installed, tap on the “Search” tab at the bottom and search for ‘T-Mobile US MMS Fix for iOS4’.

Tap on T-Mobile US MMS Fix for iOS4.

Then tap on the “install” button and then the “Confirm” button to install the patch.
*

If you launch the Settings app and navigate to Settings –> General –> Network –> Cellular Data Network, you should see the following settings under MMS:

APN: epc.tmobile.com
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf

Restart your iPhone.

After your iPhone has restarted, MMS should be working on your jailbroken and unlocked iPhone on T-Mobile US.

Will this work for a 3Gs running 3.1.2 with 05.11.07 firmware? The phone is Unlocked & Jail Broken with Cydia with no other problems on Tmobile.

I,m on the version 4.0.1 and the modem is at 05.13.04 and yes mind is a 3g,s iphone .. I try ever thing I saw and nothing work until I found this!!!!

The about fix almost works for me. but in my case the APN field will blank on it's own after a few hours then I can't send or receive messages. No matter how many time I put it back, it will disappear again. All other settings stay put.

This method also works for me...for about a day, then it quits.
