    Default Tmobile 3g on IPhone

    Is it possible? I tried looking on google but most of the posts were old. I would really appreciate your help. Thanks!

    Ah okay. Is it because of the different frequencies still? I heard you can get internet or is that just the EDGE?

    Yes, still diff frequencies.

    You can get EDGE which is significantly slower than 3G, but nonetheless you can have a data plan. You just cant use T-Mobile's 3G on an iPhone.

    always wondered why there couldn't be an exploit or hack of some sort to somehow get the frequencies to match. guess that's not possible?

    Its a hardware issue not software. The phone is made to run with specific frequencies for 3G to work. T-Mobile's frequencies are not supported by the phone, youd have to modify the hardware.

    T-Mobile UK works but they run on a diff frequency than T-Mo USA.
