Error Receiving MMS on 3GS 4.0

I'm having issues receiving MMS on my 3GS unlocked on 4.0. I can send/receive regular text messages but I can only send MMS messages. Everytime someone sends me a MMS I receive the following message "The media content was not included due to a picture resolution or message size restriction".

Here are my MMS settings:

Apn: epc.tmobile.com
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf

I've also tried the following settings and had the same result:

Apn: wap.voicestream.com
MMSC: 216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf

Can anyone please help?

I figured it out and got it working. I added the repo ttp://beta.leimobile.com/repo/ in Cydia and dl'd the MMS fix. Now I can receive MMS.

i've tried that and it hasn't worked. every time my phone reboots, i lose all my network settings.

Check in the sticky's at the top of this forum. There is a fix posted for that which worked for me as I was having the same issues you were. You have to SSH into your phone (or be able to copy a file back and forth), but that's not too hard to do.

Read through the entire first post, and see if it helps.

After adding http://beta.leimobile.com/repo/ in cydia and phone reboots
go to celluar data network, add "epc.tmobile.com" to mms APN if missing and change MMS Max Message Size to 307200 and reboot. Hope it helps.

done that as well with no luck receiving mms. sending is fine. every time the phone reboots, it loses it too.

I'm having the exact same problem. Did you restore from a backup? I think that may be our problem...

no, phone was never previously jailbroken until now.

Install the sinfuliphone repo and then load the tmobile MMS 4.0 fix. I had the same issues and this was the only thing that worked.

That doesn't fix the mms issue, all it does is allow you to edit apn, which I have no problem doing.
