How can I restore my iphone 3g without loosin the unlock
I have the iphone 3g on version 3.1.2 firmware 05.11.07 runnin on tmobile.... its pretty much been acting crazy for the last few weeks, freezing up, loosing connection that kind of stuff... I was told i need to restore it but didnt know if i would loose my unlock.. if so can someone tell how to avoid that cause i havent a clue how it was done..

If you restore you're going to lose your unlock. You just have to re-jailbreak using redsn0w b5-5 and ultrasn0w to unlock. Also, if you restore, iTunes will force you to upgrade to 4.0

If you have a 3G you can use any firmware really if you do it right. But ios4 on a 3G is jailbreakable and unlockable via redsn0w and ultrasn0w.
