Carrier/sim card question

Hello all, this is a great site and I've found a ton of useful info. I just went through the process to unlock my 3G on OS4 and I have baseband 05.13.04. I'm giving my phone to a friend to use on T-mobile. Is there anything else that needs to be done other than putting the T-moible sim card in the 3G?

I've always just jailbroken in the past because I've always been on AT&T so this unlocking stuff is pretty much greek to me. Thanks for the help.

You can have your t-mobile SIM inserted throughout the process with no issues. If your already jailbroke with redsn0w, and you downloaded ultrasn0w through Cydia, then the phone should be unlocked and activated.
