Edge only working with Email

I can only check my email while on edge, I try and use safari or facebook and both say I don't have a connection. Help?
This was after I upgraded to iOS4.

Did you set your APN up right?

i figured it out, i decided to see if redsn0w was the problem and yet again it was! i restored from apple and used b5-5 and it was fixed. previously i had used b5-3.
update: i found out my backup from itunes is the source of the problem. the problem is not from redsn0w.
