    Default Question about turning off 3G

    Does turning the 3G off have any effect on the jailbreak/unlock oor is it strictly to save battery life ?

    its not needed so i keep it off. actually if its on for me i have no signal..

    Well T-Mobile's US 3G frequency is different from the rest, so even if you have 3G in your data plan, it won't work at all on the iPhone since it's not supported. So for us T-Mobile users 3G will just waste battery much faster.
