Enable Multitasking and Home Screen Background on 3G with iOS4
Step 1: Make sure you have OpenSSH installed on your iPhone:
* Open Cydia. Touch on “Search” tab and then search for “OpenSSH”.
* Install “OpenSSH” and reboot your iPhone.
Step 2: Connect your iPhone with your computer. Make sure iTunes is not running.
Step 3: Download and install WinSCP for Windows. Enter the following details to login to your phone:
* Server: The IP address of your iPhone. Settings –> WiFi –> <Your Network Name>
* Username: root
* Password: alpine
* Protocol: SFTP (SSH File Transfer
Step 4: Download N82AP.plist and copy it to /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/
Step 5. You done, reboot and now u have multitasking and backgrounds

first, why is this in the t-mobile section?
and secondly, you could just use redsn0w to jailbreak, and select all those options.The only thing I ask in return for helping, is that you click the thanks button, Thanks!

haha i was just about to say- you can select which of those options you want/don't want if you use redsn0w to jailbreak.
however, i recommend not enabling multitasking and home screen wallpapers on the 3G, there isn't enough RAM space and it is SUPER slow.
i re-jailbroke my phone and unselected those two options

oh yeah i jailbroke way before all of those and had to manually do it lol
