then your push wont work, theres a push fix that costs like 6 dollars on cydia, i'm not 100% sure what the name is

But if you restore, and use an AT&T sim to activate, then unlock, you'll be able to use t-mobile, and still have push

Can you tell me at what step I put in the aT&T sim to activate the phone?
Here's what I did on mine:
    1. Restore from iTunes with ios4 (downloaded by iTunes)
    2. run Redsn0w 0.9 b5-3 to jailbreak <--- is this the hacktivation?
    3. Then unlock with ultrasn0w

So I skip step 2 with the AT&T sim? then unlock and jailbreak it with redn0w last?

yeah redsn0w hacktivates, if it isn't activated already

basically when after you restore in itunes, the phone will be at the connect to itunes screen (emergency only)

at that point you put in the att sim, it will get past that screen, and will bring you to your icons. (i just restore the phone with the ATT sim in there, then it will be at the slide to unlock screen when its done)

Then you run redsn0w to jailbreak, and unlock as usual
The only thing I ask in return for helping, is that you click the thanks button, Thanks!

Yes, I have but I was unable to finish the installation due to the fact that it couldn't get the cert from the server... and I also tried push.info (Update: I meant "push fix") and that didn't work as well... did yours work?

Didn't know push doctor was officially released, that'll be your best bet

Push fix sucks, it was a fail, push fix 2 works, but there's a small fee

Push doctor seems to be the best solution for your situation, do some research on google about it
