Grr*** Cellular Network Data**Tab Missing

I have Tmobile Unlocked my iphone 3g on 4.0 with redsnow and it did give me the tab for cellular data network .. i put all of the setting and tried recieving but it didnt work.. so i went into cydia and than downloaded the tmobile tweak for postpaid/legacy ... and now my tab is gone .. since than i been trying to get tab .. so tell me what can i do to get it back so i can have my internet settings and MMs ... please Help me ....

You answered your own question...

uninstall the package, it isn't compatible with ios4 yet

but than how can i send and receied my MMs .. cause when i tried receiving it gave me an error of size being too big ??? please help me

You could either check 2 threads down, read the carrier bundle thread thats stickied in the t-mobile section, or use the search function...

after following the steps on SSH and updating new file .... what settings do i use for mms .. same as before or r they gonna update auto .. or manually i have to do ....

After you do the ssh from that thread, it'll be all done for you. Just reboot the phone.

you need to ssh into your phone to grab the file

then you use a text editor to edit the file

I have 3g, upgraded to GM 4.0 through itunes. Then used redsn0w_win_0.9.5b5-4 to jailbreak. Then went to cydia and installed ultrasn0w. My cellular data was missing too.

I restored to GM 4.0 through itunes, then used redsn0w_win_0.9.5b5-3 instead of -4 to jailbreak, then used ultrasn0w again, and now it's there. Only difference was the version of redsnow.

i jailbroke with -5 i have the celluar data thing.. but its only a tab.. on and off switch.. i cant change apn..

You have to backup your phone, restore to 4.0 and jailbreak with b5-5

Hey there! I am new here and I have a list of problems and this is one of them. I hope anyone can help me.

1.What is GM?

I have 3g and used redsn0w_win_0.9.5b5-4 to jailbreak and then ultrasn0w to unlock it and then the tab for Cellular Data Network was not there.

2. If I restore my phone jailbreak it with redsn0w_win_0.9.5b5-3 and then use ultrasn0w will that enable the Cellular Network data tab?

3. I notice my phone has been laggy to since the update and I had trouble with my phone detecting my Tmobile sim card. Is there a fix for this?

4. Do you know this will fix the connection with Youtube too?

You have to use b5-5 (like I said in the post above you) to fix your problems
