glad that i'm not the only one who's waiting for the unlock..... waited 14 hours in line at santa monica to get this.... and paid FULL retail too! hope someone makes some kind of ra1n or poison or whatever to make the magic happen!
cause if it doesn't happen soon, i'm going to return it and bet my luck on the canadian unlocked version... (when it comes out...)

It might take a while...it's a completely different baseband OS - which means they'll have to completely re-write the unlock. The same case applied to the 3G after it's release and it took a few months for an unlock to be released. If I helped you out, please use the Thanks button ------------------------->

well i have faith in all those programmers out there!
I, too, am also waiting for an unlock as I bought an iPhone 4 hoping to unlock it for Tmobile. =)
If not, they are going for up to $1000 on eBay

Deadline for me is the 7th. Just read on my receipt that there is a 14 day return period. If they can't unlock
it before that I'm returning it, or it's going on eBay or the recycler.
Hope they do though. I have faith too.

Yea I too bought the iPhone 4 hoping there would be a unlock release for T-Mobile very soon. But now, everyone is saying otherwise. I'm sure the dev-team is working hard. I just didn't want to end up having to wait so long for the iPhone if an unlock did happen to come out this month. It sucks when the phone says "No Service" at the top =(
