need help do not have ccellular data network option

i am new to the whole iphone and i have went through lots of the posts here but cna not find anything that helps me. so here goes i just got my iphone 3g i jailbrok and unlocked it is unlocked with blackrain rc2. what i need help with is i cna not get the mms fetures. i can not evne get the cellular data network option in network.
