    Default 3g 8gig missing apn settings please help

    so i have a 3g 8gig on 3.1.2 5.11.07
    im trying to set up my internet and i have no button that says apn, i only have: 3g (on,off) off, data roaming (on,off) on, then vpn (not configd) and wifi (not configed)

    how do i get my apn settings

    The carrier typically hides the facility. To see the setting you have to Jail break and modify the carrier plist file. If you phone is standard and you are with official carrier you can get carrier setting from Itunes. You can also download carrier settings from the site shown below.

    What's your data plan? You have to download a bundle accordingly to enable data/mms/tethering etc
