Facebook App on unlocked iPhone 3G

This happened before I update to Facebook App 3.1, but I do not care for push notifications. I am receiving all of my notifications with-in the Facebook application except for when someone comments on my status update, it does not say " so and so comment on your post/status", I do get notified when in the app when someone comments on my photo, writes on my wall, likes my status update etc...I had to go as far as being emailed just when someone comments on my status update, then I have to go and open the Facebook Application, go to my profile, wait for it to refresh, then respond....it does not make any sense, if all the other notifications are coming through in the Facebook app, why is that one "notification" not coming up. No matter how many times I refresh the notifications in the Facebook Application, after someone comments on my status update, it does not show up, can anyone help?

Can anyone help, or know why one notification out of all of them is not showing up?
Can anyone not help me at all????

try reinstalling the facebook app if it worked before.
What i do is just have your facebook account linked with your cell number. Everytime you get a notification, it'll send you a text, and you can reply str8 from the text.
Also you'd probably be better off asking this questions somewhere else, like the app section. (there are probably only 3 people in the t-mobile section that actually know what they're talking about, the rest of them will brick your phone lol jk)
