    Default It's alive

Well I got sick of crappy coverage from at$t, so I jailbroke and unlocked my 3gs. And bought a $15.00 prepayed tmobile phone from walmart. Got it home activated the cheap phone, pulled the sim stuck it in the iPhone and changed the carrier settings and it works. And texting works with pics. This is without a data plan, have wifi most of the time when I'm not driving. Anyway it was done with blackrain. And I don't drop calls like I did before on AT&T.

Yes, coverage does depend on where you live.

A little bit happy it worked and just letting others thinking of doing it, it's all good. That's the point, what's yours.

I tried my AT&T in many places and other states during work. And what crappy service. My coworkers tmobile worked much better. It wasn't perfect, but alit better than my at&t

Lol you don't need a data plan to do MMS, just a decent data connection to the network.

Well if thats your point, perhaps you should have made this thread in the AT&T thread? considering most of the people on here already have T-Mobile....
And a better thread title lol, whos on AT&T right now, thinking, damn I wonder if anyone has any good experience going to tmobile, let me check their section... Now with a title "Just moved from AT&T, Lovin T-Mobile" Would have made a little more sense. "Its alive" lol literally the most misleading thread title ever...

But none the less, welcome to t-mobile.

(sorry about the ramble, had a lil wake n bake session lol)
