Reset your network settings. (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings)
Then, install the bundle "T-Mobile US - Postpaid/Flexpaid." You DONT want any package that says t-zones (unless you have it), blackberry, sidekick, or legacy. Just "Postpaid/Flexpaid."
if this works, don't forget to his Thanks.

If you install the proper carrier bundle it will overwrite your current one. I just switched from the one using epc.tmobile to the internet2.voicestream one with no issues. Further, I'd recommend uploading the bundle via itunes carrier testing. That has always been more dependable than cydia bundles for me, even if they do come from the same source.

The biggest thing i can recommend: DONT edit netowkr settings yourself. Stick with the bundles and you'll be fine for the most part. Read my first post on page 1 of the Enable MMS thread.
Before resetting network settings, I recommend uninstalling any carrier bundles you installed through Cydia. (things might get messy with "broken packages" and stuff if you don't.)

There's a thread in the tmobile forum started by spooky ET. It's called tmobile carrier bundle...or something like that. The instructions for what I recommended can be found on the first page, I use the itunes upload method and everything works great for me. I've used those bundles across two phones and multiple firmwares of my own, and configured several friends' phones in like manner with success.

You don't have to have the phone plugged in to change the settings. iTunes has to be completely off as well, so it wouldn't be reading your phone anyways. Just make sure its plugged in when you upload the carrier bundle
