I'm newbie and trying to fix my nephew's iphone. it's a 1G with fw 3.2.1 [I]and baseband 4.5.4_g[I] right now the phone is unlock and jailbroken with blackra1n. The problem is that it doesnt show any carrier in the setting. Im using tmobile. any help is much appreciated.
Blackra1n is not capable of unlocking the first generation iPhone. You will need to download and run bootneuter from Cydia in order to unlock and gain service on T-Mobile.
OK I dl bootneuter via cydia and install and unlock with setting version 3.9, neuter on, fakeblank off. Now my phone is determining current settings... for 20 mins now. I can't get on wifi either. is it suppose to take this long??
