Hi guys, I'm running into a problem with my Jailbroken 32 gb 3Gs with T-Mobile. It's stuck on the apple logo and reboots. Here's the problem:
after the 3.1.2 update it's caused my phone to be sluggish. This time around, my wifi was spotty, so I reset my network settings and reboot, and caused the boot loop to kick in. I've restored and re-jailbroken with blackra1n countless times, and I can get it to work, but when I reboot sometimes, it causes the phone to go into the apple logo again and it will sit there for 10 minutes, then reboot, then sit, then reboot, in a loop. it's very sporadic. Also, to get into DFU mode, I have to hold the home button for around 5 minutes before it actually gets into DFU mode after a restart.
Currently, I'm stuck in one of these loops. I'm wondering, could I get away with swapping out my sim with my deactivated AT&T sim and take it in? I assume the genius bar won't be able to find that my phone is jailbroken if he needs to restore it. Although, they will find that my new sim is deactivated, but I can say that I deactivated service, but still use the ipod function of the phone. Is this plausible?
Also, I've tried using iRecovery and ih8sn0w....no luck.
