    Default Can't Change Services Online

I want to change my sevice and add the $10 data plan to use with my iPhone. When I go to plans and sevices on my account, there is no "change sevices" link to choose from in the "In this section" window on the left side. Why can't I change my services online? I have two phones on the my-favs family plan. On the line I am trying to change sevices on, I have completed the contract on that line. Again, why doesn't it let me change my sevices? If I have to call in to change the service, I am confused on what I need to do. I talked to a rep when I was setting up my iPhone for MMS. At that time he told me I could add the $10 plan and he would help me set it up. From some posts on the forum, it sounds like if I have my iPhone, the $10 plan will not be offered to me. Is this correct? If that is the case, do I have to call in on a different type of phone for them to give me the $10 plan? If another phone has to be used, can I call in on a Motorola KRZR and then order the plan? Last question: If I add the $10 data plan to my 3G iPhone, will that give me unlimited internet usage? thanks for any help........

Make sure you're the primary account holder, as they are the only ones allowed to make service changes. However, if you still cannot do the changes online, just call them (from the KRAZR is fine). Don't mention the iPhone - don't worry they will see the IMEI from the motorola you're calling. Say you want the $10 web service for other phones. And yes, this will give you unlimited internet. APN in the phone will be internet2.voicestream.com

I read in your reply and other posts just to say I want the $10 data plan for "other phones", what if they ask the type of phone I will use it with. Is there a correct answer? Also, they helped me set up the MMS on my iPhone, do they make a note on my account showing I have the iPhone and not offer the $10 plan? thank you......

Just tell them you have whatever non-smartphone you're calling from. If you call from a cell phone, they will always know the model. So if you call from your KRZR tell them you have that. They shouldn't ask if you have an iPhone - but if they do just tell them you no longer have it. But don't worry - these are CS reps not private investigators. As long as you're giving them $10/month more, they're happy.

If I tell them I have a KRZR, and I want to add the $10 data service, is the KRZR able to use that $10 service? I don't want to say I'm adding the $10 data service to a phone that is not capable of using it.
Also, can I call in from a land line phone to add this service or do I have to call in on the cell phone that I want to add the service to. thank you..........

The $10 web2go is specifically designed for non-smartphones such as the KRZR. So you're good on that. And yes, you can call from a landline. Relax man, t-mo ain't going to prosecute you if they hear you have an iPhone. They know millions use it; and as long as it gives them more money, they'll try to keep you in. I've heard of cases in which service reps try to pursue customers to jailbreak and unlock just to keep iPhone users.
