Cant acccess web on iphone using

I just added the unlimited Web on the T-Mo website and for some reason i keep getting re-dericted everytime i try to access the web on the iPhone. It sends me to this upsell page and says i need to subscribe to a data plan. I switched my SIM to my old Samsung phone and the mobile web works fine. I checked my settings and it looks fine. I paid someone to unlock and jailbreak it so im not sure what they used to do it but im running Version 3.1.2

maybe you connected to a wrong APN?

go to

Setting -> General -> Cellular network data

what does your APN said?

APN is wap.voicestream.com

I also have issues recieving MMS messages. I get that "file is too large" error.

Updated APN to internet2.voicestream.com and works fine. No more stupid redirecting!

I'm also having the same issues. I get the upsell screen and can only send mms, not receive.I've tried APN: wap.voicestream.com and epc.tmobile.com. Neither seem to work.

nevermind. I just tried APN:internet2.voicestream.com Works perfect now.

I have 3G Iphone, ver. 3.0 (7A341), 04.26.08 . It jailbreaked and unlocked. I have $10 Android unlimited web , I tried internet2.voicestream.com & epc.tmobile.com but neither of them work for me. I got message: Cannot open page because it is not conneected to the internet. Can some one help me with this? Do I have to install some program from Cydia to make it works for me? My daughter have same iphone and same plan and her phone access to the internet by internet2 smoothly. When I tried to put her sim card on my phone it won't go internet either and when I put my sim in her iphone it works on internet. Is it some thing wrong on my phone? I already check the APN and both phone is the same.

Yes, it's your phone. You shouldn't have to download anything. Just go to settings-general-reset-reset network settings. Then reboot. Then enter internet2.voicestream.com in the apn, leave user-pass blank. Turn 3G off, data roaming ON.

I had this issue when I switched over to the new unlimited plan, you need too call up t mobile, tell them you are using an iPhone and they will switch the type of data plan you are using to a smart phone plan. Thats what happend to me and now everything is working fine.

Wait til you get your monthly bill...it's a lot easier (and free) to fix the way I posted. Otherwise you're going to end up paying $20/month more. So it would help if you mentioned this in your post.
