How to get MMS to work on 3gs with T-Mobile after jailbrake & unlock

Jailbroked & unlocked my 32g iPhone 3gs for about a week now on T-Mobile network with no problems. The only thing that I cant get to work is the MMS. I use MMS a lot for work and it's been annoying me that I can't use it. Anybody know to to get it to work, I have fear that I will do something stupid and bricking my iPhone. What I can tell you is that it's a 3gs, jailbroked, unlocked, 3.1.2 Version and 5.11.7 Firmware. In the MMS setting there is nothing in the following fields:

APN:
Username:
Password:

I hope this is something that can be resolved.

In cydia, search for "T-Mobile"

You should see a bunch of carrier bundles, I use the first one.

But just read the information before you install, basically if your on a normal post-paid plan, just install the first one, and reset your network settings.
Then make sure your APN settings are in there, and you should have MMS

There is a thread in here called "carrier bundle" you should have a look through if your having problems

What are the right APN, username & password settings? I believe that's the bundle that we downloaded through Cydia. Thanks!

for apn try wap.voicestream.com

user&pass are blank

After using wap.voicestream.com for the APN it still doesn't work?
Do I need to to reset the network settings? Will I lose my jailbrake & unlock if I do a networe reset? Thanks for your help! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

you wont lose your jailbreak and unlock if you reset your network settings... Infact you were supposed to reset your network settings after you installing the tmobile bundle from cydia...

if wap.voicestream still doesn't work for your mms apn, try epc.tmobile.com

The easy option is to download a T-Mobile carrier bundle from cydia. If the settings don't show up, then reset the network settings. Otherwise, type these settings in manually (under MMS):
APN: wap.voicestream.com
Username: leave blank
Password: leave blank
MMSC: 216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
MMS Max Message Size: 1048576 (I think, but doesn't really matter anyway)

HEY THIS MIGHT SOUND KINDA DUMB.


but i installed the MMS & tethering 5.6
and now I am trying to configure the MMS settings that you gave

but the fields with information that needs to be replaced
doesnt give me the option now to keep the field completely blank
so i cant just leave the mms max size, mms ua prof URL,and all that blank.

i uninstalled the package and it still doesnt give me the option to change it, and suggestions

go into cydia and add this source apt.podulo.us then download mms&tethering settings for tmobile then reboot

I believe podulo.us is a "banned repo." I remember adding it for a tweak and seeing some oddly "free" applications on it.

ok so i had an issue sending MMS
i was able to recieve now all i can do is send
and NOT receive
what do i do?

ok i have a problem i can send pics but i cant recieve them i just get a message"The media content was not included due to a pic resolution or message size restriction" i have a 3gs HELP!!!!
